Reno’s premier healthy dining option, BFF Café, is celebrating its one year anniversary. There’s no better way to share in their success than with healthy offerings including a complimentary fitness class led by the team/health gurus of Camie Cragg Fitness (CCF), powered by Amplified Entertainment and a Fuel Pack brunch at the restaurant’s “Burn N’ Brunch” event, benefiting Streetsmart 4 Youth, supporting at-risk and homeless youth.
Health and community-conscious people are encouraged to take part in “Burn N’ Brunch” on Sunday, Oct. 9, starting at 8 a.m. when CCF Fitness will put on a 45-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) fitness class in the parking lot of BFF Café, located in west Reno.
As the name of the event promises, after the burn comes the brunch, featuring the healthy and tasty foods from BFF Café. For just $10, guests can enjoy a Fuel Pack breakfast that BFF Café has come to be known for, highlighting superfoods that are also super delicious.
“At BFF Café, we truly think of ourselves as your body’s best friend,” said Gwen Sedler, co-owner of BFF Café. “We understand that half the battle of eating right is the time it takes to shop, clean, cook and package your healthy foods. We take the hard work out of it so you can concentrate on work, family, community involvement, and overall health.”
Beyond the morning “Burn N’ Brunch” festivities, BFF Café continues the celebration with live music by the Whiskey Heroes and a “Healthy Hour” food special starting at 2 p.m. Patrons can stop by throughout the day to enjoy complimentary organic soda served in celebratory champagne glasses, enter to win raffle items from lululemon athletica, and visit with representatives from new fitness studios taking Reno by storm, Orangetheory Fitness and Reno Kicks.
Fellow BFF Café co-owner Jennifer Boscovich continued, “Between the free fitness class, the delicious food, live music and most importantly, having the event benefit Streetsmart 4 Youth, this day is going to be really special.”
For those who are worried that healthy food might not taste great, Boscovich promises, “The food we offer at BFF Café satisfies just about every palette. From the ultra-clean eater to the relaxed eater and everyone in between, our food is delicious and good for you.”
