At about 11:30 today, March 9, 2015 a female at the 9000 block of Oakley Lane in south Reno heard a disturbance in her garage.

When she went to investigate, she discovered an older white male had broken into her residence. The man ran out of the residence where he was met by the female’s husband. The suspect fled the area with the husband following him, but was lost in the area of Glen Cove Court.

Reno Police officers responded to the area and set up a perimeter to search for the suspect.

A concerned resident witnessed the incident and contacted Reno Police to convey that he saw where the suspect was possibly hiding.

After a brief search in a backyard, the suspect was located and arrested. He is identified as 51-year-old David Clemens, who has an extensive criminal history.
