The Reno Police Department has a new phone number for citizens to call and file reports telephonically. If citizens need to report a crime that is not an emergency, there is no evidence on scene and no firearms have been stolen, they now need to call the Reno Police Department at (775) 334-2226. Reno residents are also reminded that they can continue to file on-line reports through the Reno Police Departments on line reporting system at reno.gov.

The Reno Police Department also wants to advise the community that due to limited staffing of our Community Service Officers (CSO’s) the South Reno PD Sub-Station on Neil Road will be closed until November 3rd. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our community.

The Department is currently working on implementing new schedules for our CSO’s and support staff to make the Sub Station and Main Station more accessible for the community.

Please stay tuned and like the Reno Police Department on Facebook and Twitter for up to date Reno PD events and news.
