Lotus Radio Corp., unveils its new 19,000 square-foot facility on Plumb Lane. After 42 years in its Sutro and McCarran facility, it was time to invest in a new, larger facility. Lotus Radio Corp., has been operating radio stations in Northern Nevada for nearly 50 years. Today, Lotus’ seven Northern Nevada stations are known for their consistent, top-rated Rock and Sports programming along with their commitment to the community.

“Lotus has great faith in Northern Nevada, and we see the area’s potential for continued growth,” says Dane Wilt, General Manager of Lotus Radio Corp.  “We purchased a building that had been virtually vacant for a number of years and invested in creating a state of the art facility for our employees, listeners and clients as well as all our community partners.”

Lotus has made it their commitment to support Northern Nevada communities by providing millions of dollars in free advertising, support and promotion to many non-profit organizations, schools and individuals. Lotus employs over 50 broadcast professionals, ranging from Advertising Sales to On-Air Personalities, many of which have been with the company for well over a decade. They’ve built long lasting relationships and community events, like KOZZ’s annual Stuff-A-Bus with Atlantis Casino Resort Spa benefiting the Salvation Army.

“We care about the community and businesses because we live and work here,” said Wilt. “That’s why we work with so many organizations to ensure their message is being heard, or their event is being attended or that their service is being utilized.”
