Elegant evening of chamber music at the Nevada Museum of Art

rcorenochamberorchestra-6290620-6641321RENO CHAMBER ORCHESTRA NEWS RELEASE –  The Reno Chamber Orchestra (RCO) presents “An Elegant Evening of Chamber Music” at the Nevada Museum of Art on Thursday, June 19 at 7 p.m.

RCO musicians Ruth Lenz, Carol Laube, Dustin Budish, John Lenz, and Peter Lenz will perform Franz Schubert’s String Quintet, one of chamber music’s great masterpieces, in the Museum’s Wayne and Miriam Prim Theater. The 7 p.m. concert will be followed by champagne and desserts by Chez Louis from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., during which time you’ll have a chance to visit with the musicians and your fellow RCO enthusiasts.

You are also invited to come early, as your ticket to “An Elegant Evening of Chamber Music” includes admission to the Nevada Museum of Art and its exhibitions. The galleries will be open for “Elegant Evening” attendees starting at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $80 per person ($60 of which is a tax-deductible contribution to the RCO). Seating is limited. Proceeds from the event benefit the Reno Chamber Orchestra.

Miriam Hodgman is originally from San Francisco. She previously was the communications coordinator for the largest hunger-relief organization in Sonoma County, California. She has a bachelor’s degree in American history, with a minor in American Indian studies, from San Francisco State University, and has a master’s degree in public administration from Sonoma State University. She enjoys training a variety of martial arts.
