Reno Police ask for tips in deaths, shooting

Anyone having information relating to the following crimes or the suspects should contact the Reno Police Department.

Suspicious death

This morning Reno Police were called to 4650 Sierra Madre Dr., along with Reno Fire and REMSA personnel, on the report of a subject possibly deceased.  Upon arrival, the subject was located in a common area of the apartment complex deceased.

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin. Information regarding injuries is also being withheld pending a medical exam.

Homicide

On Sunday, July 28, near midnight, Reno Police were called to the 400 block of Evans Ave. on the report of a disturbance.  Upon arrival, the victim was located with multiple stab wounds. He was quickly taken to Renown Medical Center, where he later died as a result of his injuries.

The victim was Jeffrey Landreman, age 47, of Reno.

Shooting

On Friday, Aug. 2,  at approximately 1640 hours, Reno Police Officers were summoned to the area of 1130 Parkview St. on the report of a shooting.  Upon arrival, Officers found the victim suffering from gun shot wounds.  He was transported to Renown and treated for his injuries.

The suspect was believed to have fled back into his residence in the 3500 Block of Carlos Lane.  He eventually exited his residence and was taken into custody. Aaron Arnell White, 27, was charged with  Battery with a Deadly Weapon Causing Substantial Bodily Harm and Ex-Felon Possession of a Firearm.
