VIRGINIA CITY NEWS
VIRGINIA CITY — It’s a new year, a revamped event and Virginia City, Nev. presents a full-on Irish testicle festival at the 22nd Annual Rocky Mountain Oyster Festival, taking place along C St., the historic town’s main drive, March 16, 2013.

More than 3,000 people head to one of the greatest historical towns in the nation for a taste of this “delicacy,” a rocky mountain oyster also known as “fries.” A beer garden, authentic live Irish music, individual and team “ball-eating” contests, St. Patty’s Day costume contest and a new Leprechaun Bar Crawl presented by Coors Light round out the new event offerings.
