NNMC announces new clinical leaders

SPARKS — Northern Nevada Medical Center is pleased to announce Kaylene Opperman, RN, Cred. BSN, as the director of ICU and Annabelle De Los Angeles, RN, Cred. BSN, as the manager for Medical/Surgical/Rehab Unit.

Kayleen Opperman Opperman obtained her Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix. She has 20 years of nursing experience in acute care and outpatient surgery. She most recently served as the assistant nurse executive at the Nevada Hospital Association in Reno.

Annabelle De Los AngelesDe Los Angeles earned her Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing from Cebu Velez College of Nursing, Cebu City, Philippines. She has more than 18 years of nursing experience in medical, surgical, telemetry and rehab. She recently was at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Reno where she served as a nurse.

“We are pleased to welcome Kaylene and Annabelle to our team,” said Chief Nursing Officer Paula Schmidt. “Their combined knowledge and experience in the medical field is such an asset to our facility, and we look forward to their individual contributions to the hospital and overall patient care.”
