Former U.S. Attorney and current State Senator Greg Brower will seek election to a full term in the state Senate district he has represented since January.
Early this year, Brower was appointed by the Washoe County Commission to serve out the term of Senator William Raggio, who retired.
“The 2011 legislative session was a difficult one and the next one promises to be just as challenging,” Brower said. “Despite its challenges, I was honored to serve and if elected my priorities will continue to be job creation and education reform. Much was accomplished in the last session, but much more remains to be done.”
Brower, a former two-term assemblyman, resides in Reno with his wife, Loren, and their two daughters. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and The George Washington University Law School and is a Navy veteran.
