SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE
The Rory Reid campaign launched its “vote for jobs” tour today with a pair of stops in Las Vegas. Over the final 15 days of the election, Reid will travel the state to share his innovative plans for the short- and long-term future of Nevada.
“My opponent and I offer two very different approaches,” Reid said. “I believe a governor should lay out a plan of action to create jobs and address the state’s other challenges. My opponent doesn’t seem to believe voters deserve to know what he would do as governor.”
Reid has released six detailed plans for improving Nevada. He’s offered innovative ideas to diversify the economy and create needed jobs. Reid has also offered a vision for reforming our state’s struggling schools and balancing the state budget.
Despite repeated promises to voters and the media, Brian Sandoval has no plan to balance the state budget and has said nothing about what he would do to create jobs for the nearly 15 percent of Nevadans looking for work. Sandoval’s only policy idea is to cut $533 million from our children’s classrooms.
Reid’s “vote for jobs” tour will include stops at small businesses, schools, colleges and storefronts in Northern and Southern Nevada.
Rory Reid is the only candidate for governor to offer solutions for today and a vision for Nevada’s future success – supporting strong schools for a stronger economy. For more information about his campaign or to download his plans, visit RoryReid.com.
