RENO, Nev. – Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) was recently awarded the highest form of recognition for governmental accounting and financial reporting for the seventh consecutive year.

This is also Tissier’s seventh time receiving the individual award. Both accomplishments would not have possible without the hard work and dedication of both Tissier and the finance team.

According to GFOA, the Water Authority’s financial report was chosen because it met the high standards of the program, demonstrating a constructive spirit of full disclosure to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the report.
