SUBMITTED RELEASE FROM ORRIN JOHNSON
Neighbors,
Years ago, I joined the Navy for a lot of reasons, but the most important reason why I took that oath to support and defend the Constitution was because I knew that as an American, I had a duty to step forward and take responsibility for the security of my nation.
Today, I’m running for State Assembly because our nation and our state are at great risk, and I again feel in my heart the call of duty. This time the threat comes from Washington and Carson City’s habits of reckless, out-of-control spending, indifference to illegal immigration, and job-killing tax hikes.
Not everyone can run for office, but everyone can stand with me and help me answer the call of duty. This is our government, spending our money – don’t be left out of the decision-making process. Get out and vote today! Every single vote will make a substantial difference.
All over the country, in races great and small, the call of duty is being heard and answered. My candidacy is part of a generational shift happening across the nation. It’s time for fresh blood, renewed commitment to our principles, and new energy in the Republican Party, and more importantly, in Nevada’s Assembly. Early voting is happening now, and Election Day is June 8 – come join me, and be part of history!
Sincerely,
Orrin Johnson
