DAY WORKSHOP: Provides hands-on opportunities to broaden your understanding of regional data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis and tools available from the Nevada Regional Economic Analysis Project that will let you perform instant evaluation of economic trends and assess the economic structure and performance of the Nevada economies – all at the click of a mouse. Bring your laptop. A wireless connection will be provided. Completing the workshop has been approved by the Nevada Department of Taxation Appraiser Certification Board for six CEUs and qualified by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) for credit towards recertification.
EVENING OUTLOOK SYMPOSIUM AND DINNER: Featuring Gary Zimmerman from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco discussing national economic trends and outlook. Dr. Keith Schwer from the Center for Business and Economic Research at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas will address the same issues from a state of Nevada perspective.
