Do you ride a bike? Are you a young professional? Do you work in the environmental field? Are you at least interested in the environment?
If any of these apply to you, you’re invited to Thursday Night Bikes at the Nevada Museum of Art from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. this Thursday. Reno Green Drinks and Young Professional Network will be there, the Reno Bike Project will provide free bicycle valet parking for anyone who arrives by bike and Drinking with Clowns will perform.
Reno Green Drinks is the local chapter of the internationally based Green Drinks. The group enjoys cocktails and noshes each month while networking and trying to create awareness about eco-conscious businesses and concerns in Northern Nevada.
The Young Professionals Network is committed to retaining and attracting young professionals “who are driven and enthusiastic about doing business in our region.” They use social networking events and major leadership conferences to keep young professionals informed and engaged.
NMA is at 160 Liberty Street in downtown Reno. The cost of the event is $10 at the door and includes one drink.
The last event in the Thursday Night Bikes series will be “First Thursday with the Jackals” Sept. 3.
