SENATE REPUBLICAN CAUCUS NEWS RELEASE
The Senate Republican Caucus has announced its support of State Senator Barbara Cegavske of Las Vegas in her bid for Nevada’s 4th Congressional District.
“I have served with Barbara for 16 years in the Nevada Legislature and know that she will be an excellent member of Congress,” Nevada Senate Minority Leader Mike McGinness said. “Barbara’s strong work ethic and passion for improving public education are qualities that we need in Washington D.C. Barbara will be a strong representative for all of the people in the 4th Congressional District.”
McGinness currently represents Esmeralda, Mineral and Lyon counties, which are all part of the new 4th Congressional District.
“I am proud to have the support of the Nevada Senate Republican Caucus,” Cegavske said. “As a member of Congress, I look forward to working with my colleagues to solve the problems facing Nevada and the nation.”
