  • Input the desired dates for your sponsored post to run on This Is Reno. Most articles are on the front page of the website for about 7 days but will remain in our archives indefinitely. Please allow 2 business days to schedule your post.
  • Write the article title here. Do not use ALL CAPS. Shorter is better. Try to limit to 8 words or less.
  • Add a subheadline if applicable. This should be different from the headline. Avoid repeating words from the headline.
  • An original photograph is required for all sponsored posts. No screen-grabs, logos, fliers, illustrations or copyrighted works are accepted. The image should be a horizontal photograph with at a minimum of 1,000 pixels wide. Any text or logos on the photograph shall not comprise more than 10% of the image. Acceptable file formats: jpg, gif, and png. The file should be no larger than 10 megabytes. NOTE: Failure to include a photograph with these requirements will delay the publication of your post.
    Accepted file types: jpg, jpeg, png, gif.
  • Please write the name of the photographer and/or organization with the rights and permissions to republish the images.
  • Summarize the article in less than 200 characters, which will be used for Facebook’s article summary. This is required for SEO if you purchase the upper paid Sponsored Post options.
  • Write your article here. Make sure to cover the 5Ws and H: Who, What, Why, Where, When and How. Aim for about 300 to 500 words. Include links within the text, or supply them at the end of the article.
  • Choose one word or a short term that describes your article. This is necessary for SEO if you purchase the upper paid Sponsored Post options.
