Want to be everywhere, but not sure where the best events are happening? Here’s the rundown of things to do in Reno this weekend.
Friday, 12/28
Revision Brewing Co. is hosting a New Beers Eve Party featuring a “beer release” of their first barrel aged beer and performances by Bart Budwig’s Amberband and Six Mile Station. 7 pm
Midtown Wine Bar will be rocking your favorite hits from 50s through the 80s featuring live music from Baker Street. 8 pm
Over at Davidson’s Distillery, Hott Boxzmakes their debut with a show featuring classic rock, free pizza and raffle prizes from Bizarre Guitar. 9:30pm
For the late night crowd, DAEN-O and 1Up present The Remedy! featuring performances from Obi Wan Solo, CRED, AdamBomb, DAEN-O b2b TRENDO, Mile High, and Butterz. 10 pm
Saturday, 12/28
Benefit for the Homies at Jub Jub’s Thirst Parlor brings together 3 Day Holocaust, Dissidence, Prince Robot, Pressure Drop, and Heterophobia to raise funds for friends of theirs recently injured in a serious car accident. Raffles and Prizes will be up for grabs. 8 pm
The Bluebird keeps the party going for the second weekend of their two-year anniversary celebration, showcasing a selection of Reno’s new talent with an emphasis on house music. 9 pm
Funk Assassination will be killing it on the last Saturday of the year over at Pignic Pub and Patio, starting at 8 pm.
Sunday, 12/30
Press Startopens its doors, arcades, and pinball machines to not just the young-at-heart, but the actually young. Bring the kiddos down for a day of fun, including free pizza while it lasts. 11 am-6 pm
Cole Adams will be setting up to entertain the holiday brunchers at West Street Market for a last “eat, drink, and be merry” afternoon downtown. 12pm
The Silver Dollar Court is hosting their New Year’s Beer Bustfundraiser at Faces. $10 AYCD Beer and $20 AYCD well, from 2 pm -5 pm, with proceeds going to the SDC general fund and their chosen charities for 2018: Seniors in Service and Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation.
Monday, 12/31
Saint James Infirmary is hosting the return of premiere Reno rockers, The Atomiks, for a “blink and you’ll miss it” holiday surprise. 9 pm
Black Rock City All-Stars are also coming out of semi-retirement, bringing you their homegrown beats and rhymes over at The Rack. 9 pm
