Buy a $100 raffle ticket; Support Veterans Guest House

Support the Veterans Guest House in Reno and have a chance to win $7,500. All it takes is the lucky $100 raffle ticket. You can’t win if you don’t buy one!

The Salute and Support Our Veterans annual fundraising raffle is going on now until noon on Saturday, December 8th. With the purchase of a $100 raffle ticket, you get a chance to win either a $7,500 cash grand prize or one of five $500 prizes. The odds are great as only 500 tickets will be sold.

All raffle proceeds directly support the Veterans Guest House. For over 24 years, the Guest House has been providing U.S. military service veterans and their families with caring support and temporary housing during times of medical need.

Raffle tickets can be reserved online at www.veteransguesthouse.org. You must be 21 to purchase a ticket. You can also purchase a ticket in person at the following locations: the Flag Store at 155 Glendale Ave. in Sparks; PJ & Co. Restaurant & Saloon at 1590 S. Wells Ave. in Reno; St. Ives Florist at 700 S. Wells Ave. in Reno; Steve’s Army Surplus at 1100 E. Plumb Lane Suite C. in Reno and the Veterans Guest House at 880 Locust St. in Reno. Closing date is December 8th at 12:00 noon.

The winning tickets will be drawn Saturday, December 8th during halftime of the Army vs. Navy Football Game Party at the Veterans Guest House. The party starts at noon. You are invited to attend, but need not be present to win.
