Brüka Theatre Announces 26th Season of Shows

bruka theatre biggest little festivalA Classic Revolution is in the air with the announcement of Brüka Theatre’s 26th season of live performances in downtown Reno.  This season will feature classic theater at its best, with a program of entertaining and exciting shows that share a timeless quality.

Productions in this year’s lineup include classics like Bell, Book and Candle, The Dresser and The Crucible alongside original storytelling like The Mousehole Family Christmas Extravaganza.  The musical Victor/Victoria and Agatha Christie’s rarely seen play, Akhnaton, round out the list of performances offered in Brüka’s 2018-2019 season.

This season also features the 6th annual Biggest Little Theatre and New Works Festival, master classes and the touring Brüka Theatre For Children original production, Galileo — Stars In His Eyes.

In April, Brüka will host their Lavender Ball, celebrating all things local with music, dancing and locally sourced specialties.

All Brüka main stage evening shows begin at a new time of 7:30 p.m. Matinees will begin at 2:00 p.m. Brüka was recently named “Best Local Theatre Company” by the Reno News & Review for the 21st year in a row.
