Thursday evening Donor Network West, Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve, and community members gathered by the BELIEVE sculpture in downtown Reno for a one-night-only special lighting supporting organ donation.

The BELIEVE sculpture was lit in green and blue to celebrate Donate Life Month, recognized each April to help encourage people to register as organ, eye, and tissue donors and to celebrate those that have saved lives through donation.

Schieve, an organ donation recipient herself, was on hand to express her appreciation for donors and the work of Donor Network West.

The lighting was provided for free by Have Lights Will Travel.
