Grand Sierra Resort opened an outdoor ice rink on the south side of its building this past week. The rink is open Sunday through Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m. Cost is $15 per person to skate (includes skate rental) or $50 for a family of four. The resort’s website notes that “shuffling” is also okay. We can’t all be elegant on ice.
