We all know Reno is evolving culturally. The evidence is in the murals and vibrant arts scene. But what about general consciousness? Well now there is evidence of that too. This year Sol Kava opened in the West Street Market.
The entire business is centered around consciousness in what we eat and drink. It’s part of Reno’s cultural evolution, that has been long coming.
Another similar business has been at it for years, the Tea Lounge, where people sip Kava, do Yoga, and dance as an alternative to Reno’s traditional gritty bar scene. Reno Youth Radio’s Wyatt Daane has the story, with photos from teacher Kyril Plaskon.
