PHOTOS: Maxbeth Fills The Air With Violence, Drama With Merry War Theater

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

This weekend is your last chance to catch this exciting play on the steps of the Lear Theater. This is the perfect way to spend an evening, enjoying a rousing performance of Mad Max meets Macbeth.

Be assured that this is a violent, blood-soaked performance with actors who bring excitement to the stage — well, to the steps of the Lear Theater.  Chase McKenna is the powerful energy behind The Merry War Theater Group. She has been bringing interesting and eccentric entertainment to the Reno Theater scene for a few years now with the annual take on Macbeth as well as The Star Wars Parody and many other offerings.

This year’s take on Macbeth brings the classic, post-apocalyptic feel of Mad Max to the blending of Beefcake, Blood, and Drama filled performances. Bring your lawn chairs and find your place on the lawn to enjoy a very energetically charged performance that may not be for the faint of heart.

Be sure to check it out this weekend with gates opening at 6:30.
