After 25 years of providing free medical resources to underprivileged citizens, Northern Nevada non-profit, CARE Chest, is being honored with proclamations by the Reno and Sparks city councils.
“Northern Nevada has a rich tradition of pulling together to support one another,” said Patti Meals, CARE Chest’s executive director. “Over a quarter-century the community’s support has given us the tools to bring critical medical resources to our neighbors in need. We look forward to another 25 years of helping build a happier, healthier community.”
Chest provides medical and health supplies to those in need, assisting each year more than 8,500 Northern Nevadans.
