On Tuesday, Reno Police Officers were summoned to a residence in the 1000 block of Brentwood Drive on the report of a murder suicide.
Upon arrival, officers located two deceased females and three deceased cats in the backyard, all with gunshot wounds. A firearm was also located.
Medical examinations will be conducted by the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine cause of death. However, the Reno Police Department is not looking for any suspects.
The names of the deceased will be released once the next of kin has been notified.
