On February 13, 2015 a dozen Reno Police officers conducted an all day pedestrian safety operation.
During the operation, numerous vehicles were stopped by officers for various traffic violations which resulted in over 68 violations being cited.
The majority were for drivers failing to yield the right of way to pedestrians. The efforts combined with traffic enforcement conducted by the Reno Police Departments Traffic Division over the last two weeks have resulted in over 200 traffic citations.
