“In reality, there is no such thing as not voting: you either vote by voting, or you vote by staying home and tacitly doubling the value of some Diehard’s vote.”
–David Foster Wallace

Friday is the last day for early voting, and with 16 locations throughout Washoe County there is no excuse not to participate in the upcoming primary. After tomorrow there are only four days left to cast an early ballot.

The early voting period allows voting at any of the scheduled voting sites. On election day voters are required to use the assigned location listed on the back of the sample ballot. Information is available at http://www.washoecounty.us/voters.

Any questions concerning sample ballots can be clarified by contacting the Washoe County Registrar of Voters Office. The number is 775-328-3670.

All absentee ballot request forms must be received by the Registrar of Voters Office before Tuesday, June 3 at 5 p.m.
