KIDS University features programs and activities to energize kids’ minds and bodies all summer long, including weeklong camp sessions in the arts, writing, science, math, literature, theatre, history, web design, cultural exploration, sports and games and much more! A day camp open to children entering grades 2-8, KIDS U offers seven weeklong sessions from June 16-Aug. 1, 2014. All sessions are held on the University of Nevada, Reno campus, and some topics include field trips. Full-day sessions run Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., with a lunch break followed by afternoon recreational activities. Half-day sessions run 7:30 a.m-12:15 p.m. A $25 nonrefundable/nontransferable deposit is required for each weeklong session at time of registration. Individual fees range from $160-$210/per week for full-day camp and $112-$140/per week for half-day camp. Registration is available online 24/7. The University of Nevada’s summer Wolf Pack Sports Camps, offered for boys and girls of all ages and abilities, are hosted by Nevada Wolf Pack coaching staff and current and former players and provide opportunities for young athletes to have fun, learn new skills and get a feel for what the Division l experience is like by using the University’s own athletic facilities!
