Sheriff’s Office locates missing elderly person in north Reno

washoe_county_sheriffs_office_log-5039106-6276922The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office has located the missing elderly man, Kenneth Mandhey, in north Reno. The Sheriff’s Office appreciates all assistance during this search.

WCSO NEWS RELEASE

Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Search and Rescue are searching for an elderly, endangered male last seen outside his residence on the 8000 block of Mohawk Lane in north Reno at approximately 4:30 p.m. this afternoon.

The missing person is identified as 65-year-old Kenneth Mandhey. He is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and of medium build with white or gray hair.  He was last seen wearing a light brown sweater and light pink sweatpants.

Anyone who has seen Mandhey, or has information about his whereabouts, is asked to contact the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office immediately at (775) 785-WCSO (9276) or 911.
