February 15: 10:00 a.m.: Roses – the Jewels of the Garden – Why Every Garden Should Have Roses
Reno Rose Society and ARS Consulting Rosarian Rebecca Shaw will share her passion for roses during this seminar while debunking the myth that roses are difficult to grow and not for every garden in northern Nevada. With all the different kinds of roses available, you can plant the right color, scent, size and/or name for your garden. You’ll discover roses are not hard to grow when planted in the right place and given appropriate water and fertilizer.
All seminars are free and held at Moana Nursery, 1190 W. Moana Lane, in our Landscape and Design Center unless otherwise stated. Seminars begin promptly at 10 a.m. and last one hour.
