Detectives seek help with identifying suspect in attempted 7-Eleven robbery

washoe_county_sheriffs_office_log-6292299-1088864Washoe County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person suspected in the attempted robbery of a 7-Eleven in Lemmon Valley during the early morning hours of Jan. 23.

According to the investigation, the suspect entered the 7-Eleven located on the 8900 block of Lemmon Drive at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23, and demanded that the clerk open the cash register. The clerk was able to secure himself in a separate room and the suspect left empty-handed.

The suspect is described as male, approximately six feet tall, weighing 200 pounds and wearing a red or orange long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, black boots and a tan camouflage mask.

Anyone with information that could assist this investigation is asked to contact the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at (775) 328-3320 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.
