As you may know, Nevada has the highest mineral value in the nation and the minerals mining industry contributes $6.762 billion to the state GDP. But beyond the financials, the mining industry makes it a priority to give back to the communities in which it operates.
Our Good Neighbor video depicts just how important reclamation is to the mining industry. And ultimately, reclaimed sites are returned to many productive uses, ranging from recreation areas, economic development parks, farms, golf courses and housing developments to wildlife areas and wetlands.
In fact, the minerals mining industry has reclaimed hundreds of thousands of acres of land.
