Atlantis and Channel 2 News hosting donation drive for Typhoon Haiyan victims – monetary donations go toward Red Cross efforts

m24582336_haiyan-ph-kidsdestoyedstreet-150x150-8290641-1936920ATLANTIS CASINO RESORT SPA NEWS RELEASE – Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, along with KTVN Channel 2 News, is holding a donation drive for Typhoon Haiyan victims on Friday, November 22, from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Atlantis West End Parking Lot, located at the northwest corner of South Virginia and Peckham, near the Atlantis rotunda.

Only monetary donations will be accepted at this drive to benefit the Red Cross, and funds raised will go toward Red Cross efforts in the Philippines. According to the Philippines government, more than 4 million people have been displaced by Typhoon Haiyan, and food, shelter and water are needed in the hardest hit areas.

Donations are always accepted by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS, or online via http://www.redcross.org.
