Assistant Minority Leader Kieckhefer to Converse with University Students

block_n-4867312-8176548The Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN) will host Senator Ben Kieckhefer, Assistant Minority Leader of the Nevada Senate, for Late Night with a Legislator 6:30 to 8 p.m., Nov. 21,  in the Starbucks in the Joe Crowley Student Union on the University campus.
The Late Night with a Legislator series allows students to add their voice to current issues and learn more about the legislative process from their elected officials. The events are sponsored by the ASUN Department of Legislative Affairs. Nevada Senator Debbie Smith, Assistant Senate Majority Leader and President of the National Conference of State Legislatures, was a previous speaker.
Media parking is available in the metered-parking lot south of Lawlor Events Center. Media are asked to arrive in a marked vehicle or put a media badge or business card on the dashboard.
