Four things to do Mother’s Day weekend at The Summit

Celebrate Mother’s Day at The Summit during the Flowers, Flight and Flavor Festival, an event held on Mother’s Day with activities for the whole family.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, shoppers are invited to visit The Summit for a special Farmers Market event, featuring fresh produce, children’s workshops, interactive demonstrations, kite flying, a photo board and much more. The event, located near the plaza between Vans and Tilly’s, is free and open to the public.

In addition to the exciting Mother’s Day activities, The Summit will also be giving back to shoppers through the Shoptimum Rewards promotion. From May 6 through May 12 when shoppers spend $200 across any five different stores and restaurants at The Summit, they will receive a free $25 gift card to The Summit. The center currently has more than 65 unique stores and restaurants for guests to enjoy. Shoppers must redeem their receipts by Wednesday, May 15, at the Guest Services Office by J. Crew.

Mothers and daughters are also invited to come out to The Summit for Cupcakes and Couture with The Summit’s personal stylist, Isha Casagrande, Saturday, May 11, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Visit “Style Stations” including Glitz body lotion making, Haute Hands nail decals, Design Diva paper dolls, Glamour Gloss Bar, Couture Caps and more. The $10 ticket price includes a cupcake, refreshment, crafts, a fashion show and photo opportunities. Space is limited. Please bring new items for donation.

Following the Flowers, Flight and Flavor Festival on Mother’s Day, shoppers 21 and over can stroll around The Summit during the Mother’s Day Wine Walk hosted by L’uva Bella Wine Gallery from 2 to 5 p.m. Participants can sip and shop at various stores and restaurants while also enjoying food samplings inside L’uva Bella. Visit L’uva Bella to purchase tickets for $20 per person. All participants will be entered to win a KitchenAid food processer. Proceeds from this month’s wine walk will benefit the Children’s Miracle Network and Renown Children’s Hospital.
