Grand Sierra Resort offers a full schedule of events and entertainment in April

Grand Sierra Resort regularly welcomes performers, comedians, production shows and more to its Grand Theatre, featuring the country’s largest indoor stage, and the 45,000-square-foot Summit Pavilion. Anthony Cools: Uncensored. 9 p.m. Friday, April 9
Hypnotist Anthony Cools returns to Reno with his X-rated humor at the Grand Theatre. Tickets are $20 or $10 with a student ID from the University of Nevada, Reno or Truckee Meadows Community College. Must be 18 or older to attend.

First Fridays Festival — Toga Party. 9 p.m. Friday, April 5
Get ready to get down like the ancient Greeks for the April First Fridays Festival. Watch hypnotist Anthony Cools delight audiences with his X-rated humor, dance to live music from the Spazmatics and local DJs at WET Ultra Lounge and take advantage of food and drink specials all night long.

Artown Encore presents: Bobby McFerrin. 8 p.m. Saturday, April 6
Ten-time Grammy award winner Bobby McFerrin visits the stage at the Grand Theatre to perform his well-known hits, including the favorite “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.”

The Postal Service. 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 9
The Postal Service celebrates 10 years since the start of the band with a re-release of its one and only album and a final opportunity to see the group in person.

Street Food Fiesta at Charlie Palmer. 6 p.m. Wednesday April 10
Charlie Palmer chefs create a one-of-a-kind tasting experience by pairing street food favorites with exclusive beer, wine and cocktail samplings. Enjoy as much as you like for $20.

WET Thursdays. 8 to 10 p.m. every Thursday
At WET Ultra Lounge & Party Pit, enjoy every sip of well liquor and domestic beer, and every bite of appetizers that you can! For $20, you’ll get a night filled with the best tastes of GSR, plus a live DJ and, of course, those sexy Party Pit girls.

JMAX Presents: Bullet for My Valentine. 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 16
The Welsh heavy metal band performs both from its newest studio album, “Temper Temper,” as well as hits from their previous records.

SKYY Vodka Local Ladies Night. 5 p.m. Thursday, April 18
Every third Thursday is Ladies Night at the GSR, where local ladies can enjoy 50 percent off dining, drinks and more!

JMAX Presents: Whitney Myer. 8 p.m. Friday, April 26
Local talent Whitney Myer, known for her turn on NBC’s “The Voice, performs a blend of musical styles at the Grand Theatre. This performance marks the release of her solo album and the announcement of her summer tour schedule.
