Reno’s famous landmark, the Reno Arch is showing support for former Wolf Pack player Colin Kaepernick as he heads to his first Super Bowl game.
The City of Reno partnered with the University of Nevada Athletics for the sign. American Sign and Crane Company donated the labor and equipment for the hanging of the sign.
“Hanging the Go Kap Go! sign on our famous Reno Arch shows the town’s support for not only our former Wolf Pack player Colin Kaepernick and our University, but it also generates great community spirit,” advises Mayor Bob Cashell.
The City of Reno is urging downtown casinos and business along with the entire community to show similar support on their marquees and signs.
