One suspect remains outstanding as Lemmon Valley homicide investigation continues

The investigation into the circumstances which led to the death of Jared Hyde, a 20 year-old Reno resident, on Sunday, Feb. 5, continues. Sheriff’s Detectives have contacted Andrue “AJ” Jefferson and are no longer requesting assistance in locating him. No arrests have been made at this time.

Sheriff’s detectives are now specifically seeking the whereabouts of Robert “Bobby” Schnueringer. It is believed that Schnueringer is still in the Reno/Sparks area.

Sheriff’s detectives have followed up on numerous leads and are now requesting the public’s assistance with information on Schnueringer. Sheriff’s detectives can be reached by calling 832-WCSO (9276) or provide information anonymously through Secret Witness at 322-4900.
