SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE

In Reno-Tahoe economic news, downtown Reno is soon to be home to a new business and financial services company that is opening a service support center at 300 East 2nd Street in the Jones Vargas Center across from the Reno Aces Ballpark.  Fusion Contact Centers today announced at a news conference that the company looks to initially hire up to 180 employees, with the possibility of as many as 300 within the next five years.  Below is a news release with more details on the company and today’s announcement.

Governor Brian Sandoval, city, county and local economic development leaders lauded the company for its investment in Reno at a time when unemployment remains at 12.1 percent in the Reno-Sparks area.

The announcement follows last month’s ReCharge Nevada Economic Development Summit in which state and local officials addressed strategies to lead the region’s economic recovery and spur job creation.
