SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE
(ZEPHYR COVE, Nev.) — Two of Chase International’s top agents took top honors this past month with Mike Young receiving the Realtor® of the Year Award by the Nevada Association of Realtors® (NVAR) and Linda Granger being selected as a candidate of Realtor® of the Year by the Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors® which will announce the 2011 winner during their installation dinner on December 8. Four Realtors® from Chase International’s South Lake Tahoe office have excelled as well.
With over 25 years of experience in marketing some of the area’s more prestigious properties in California and Nevada, Mike Young works out of the agency’s Incline Village, Nev. office and excels as a top producer, Broker and respected leader in the real estate business. An educator by trade, Young combines his understanding of the real estate process with his vast market insight to offer his clients honest and factual information. He is as committed to the business as he is to his clients. “My clients’ needs, and their understanding of our area, are my utmost priority.” One of his greatest joys is selling the “Tahoe Lifestyle” that he continues to enjoy year after year. In addition to this year’s award, Young was named Realtor of the Year in 2009 and is the recipient of the 2007 Don Beck Property Rights Award that he received for his efforts to protect property rights.
Linda Granger is well-known as a true achiever with an extraordinary drive to please. Sharp and sensitive, her perceptive nature is her hallmark. “My clients become friends for life for a reason; I listen to their needs then become ultra-focused until my job is done. Nothing pleases me more than finding a house that my clients call ‘home’.” She’s one who always sets her sights high. Granger holds a Black Belt in Shorei Ryu Karate, is a United States Diving Champion and couldn’t be prouder of her family’s own accomplishments over the past 20 years. Granger is a Broker Associate who works out of Chase International’s Tahoe City, Ca. office and is a Graduate of the Realtor® Institute (GRI) and a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS).
South Lake Tahoe’s Chase International office is home to many agents who are making a difference in the real estate business. Jim Wire was awarded the Community Service Award from the South Tahoe Association of Realtors®, Sheila Edner and Judith Hanson were installed as Directors, and Brooke Hernandez is the Association’s new Vice President.
As a Tahoe resident for over 22 years, Jim Wire is confident that he can help anyone find what they desire most in Tahoe. After owning and operating Lake Tahoe’s largest fitness club for the past 10 years, and being involved in the real estate business for many years, Wire re-entered the field with a new enthusiasm. “My involvement with community organizations such as the Kiwanis Sunrisers has further engaged me with the community and those that make it a better place to live” he said.
As long time resident of South Lake Tahoe, Sheila Edner knows what it is like to go to school, raise a family and have a career in the High Sierra. Edner has lived in South Lake Tahoe since 1986 and graduated from South Tahoe High in 1997. Being a resident of the Lake for 20+ years gives Sheila the ability to find the perfect home that meets all her clients’ needs. A long term goal of her real estate career is to provide her clients with the best possible service.
Like so many local residents, Judith Hanson acquired a passion for Lake Tahoe during a vacation in 1976; today it is her permanent home and place of business. Prior to living in South Lake Tahoe, she was involved in buying real estate for remodeling and investment purposes. Building on her MBA credentials, Hanson developed skills in negotiating and financial contract development – all of which have enabled her to provide the best possible business acumen in assisting her clients with their real estate requirements.
Feeling fortunate to live in one the “best places on Earth”, Brooke Norman Hernandez just loves to encourage others do the same. As a Realtor®, community volunteer and avid skier, Hernandez offers a true local’s perspective about the endless benefits of living in the High Sierra. “Helping others buy and sell real estate is not a job to me; I just enjoy the final outcome when my clients can call Lake Tahoe ‘home’.”
