TAHOE: Wood permits available on North Shore

LAKE TAHOE — Woodcutting permits are now available at the U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit North Shore office, located at 855 Alder Ave., Incline Village, Nevada.  The office is next to the Washoe County Library off Highway 28.

Permits are $20 a cord, with a two cord minimum sale.  Cash and checks are accepted.  Maps and regulations are provided at the time of purchase.  All cutting areas are on National Forest System lands within the Lake Tahoe Basin.
