Body found near Whites Creek identified as missing hiker

SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE

On Tuesday, Feb. 8 at approximately 4:55 pm, a body found near Whites Creek in Reno was transported to the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office for formal identification. Today, the Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the identity as the missing hiker, Rick Gentry.
