SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE

The Nevada News Bureau has launched a political blog.  It will be maintained by Elizabeth Crum, the manager/editor of NNB‘s small but dedicated team of reporters.

“The Nevada News Bureau is an independent news service dedicated to covering the statehouse,” said editor Elizabeth Crum.  “Our capital bureau chief, Sean Whaley, has his work cut out for him in 2010, and a political blog should be a nice supplement to our content as it is hardly possible to separate the subject of government from politics – especially in an election year.”

“The Blog at NNB will offer breaking political news and analysis, links to stories and commentary at other blogs and publications, interesting excerpts from interviews with Nevada candidates and elected officials, video and audio goodies, and the occasional amusing anecdote,” said Crum in the blog’s inaugural post.

“There are already a number of very savvy, talented political bloggers around the state,” added Crum.  “I look forward to contributing to the conversation in what is shaping up to be a fascinating and entertaining year in Nevada politics.”
