Shop for a great local cause this Black Friday

Join Tune In To Kids for an activity-filled shopping day this Black Friday, Nov. 27, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Barnes & Noble, 5555 South Virginia Street in Reno. In addition to offering a variety of perfect gift items for the holiday season, Barnes & Noble will host Tune In To Kids activities throughout the day, making shopping for the holidays a fun-filled family event.

Activities at Barnes & Noble will include:

  • 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.          Demo by Jennifer Bushman: Kid Friendly Snacks!
  • 12 – 2 p.m.                   A reading with Snow White
  • 2 – 4 p.m.                    Visits with Santa Claus

Café specials, games, music and more will also be part of the Black Friday shopping experience. Shoppers are encouraged to mention Tune In To Kids at checkout, prior to making their purchase. For each shopper who mentions Tune In To Kids, Barnes & Noble will contribute a percentage of the net sale to the organization.

Tune In To Kids is a local non-profit organization offering a year-long calendar of activities designed to encourage positive parent-child interaction, promote healthy lifestyles for children and provide tools to help create positive media environments. The organization’s goals are to promote screen-free activities and provide parents with tools to create positive media environments for their children.
