Renown Health postpones seasonal flu shot events

renown_brochure_091006_b-16Each year, Renown Health provides seasonal flu shots as a service to the community. Due to unpredictable delivery of the vaccine nationwide, Renown has postponed the following seasonal flu shot events:

  • Tuesday, November 3:  9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Reno Town Mall on S. Virginia & Peckham
  • Friday, November 6: 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Raley’s on Robb Drive
  • Friday, November 6: 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Raley’s on North McCarran & Pyramid
  • Saturday, November 7: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Raley’s on North McCarran & Pyramid
  • Saturday, November 7: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Raley’s on Robb Drive
  • Sunday, November 8: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Raley’s on Robb Drive
  • Sunday, November 8: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Raley’s on North McCarran & Pyramid

Renown anticipates moving forward with all other currently scheduled seasonal flu shot events; however, similar to healthcare networks across the country, we are experiencing a fluctuation in the timing of when we receive the vaccine.

Community members are encouraged to visit www.renown.org/flu or call 775-982-5757 for up-to-date information about seasonal flu shot events. Renown recommends people planning to attend a seasonal flu shot event should check 24-hours in advance to receive the most up-to-date information.
