FALLON — The U.S. Navy on Friday reported 10 Navy sailors suffered non-life threatening injuries Thursday in an incident involving two MH-60S Seahawk helicopters at Naval Air Station Fallon.

According to spokeswoman Lt. Cmdr. Beth Teach from Naval Air Force Pacific in Coronado, California, the helicopters were assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12.

The  sailors were transported to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno at approximately 9:15 p.m. Thursday seeking medical attention. Two helicopters landed at Pickett Park across the street from Renown, delivering the injured to the hospital, and the Reno Police Department assisted with traffic control.
