Amplify Life opens new facility on NNAMHS Campus

Amplify Life, a nonprofit serving children and adults with disabilities, is holding a grand opening celebration Saturday, Nov. 23, from 1 to 4 p.m.

The new Skills and Recreation Center is on the campus of Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services at 480 Galletti Way, Building 2, in Sparks.

The event features Michael Jackson tribute artist Falynne Lewing, local music group The Note-Ables, Custom Ink’s mobile printing press and more.

The opening is for all ages and will include face painting, dessert and a raffle.

Amplify Life provides life-changing programs with educational and therapeutic benefits that are not only designed to enhance the quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization also provides much needed respite for caregivers.

Amplify Life is the only therapeutic residential year-round recreational camp organization that serves children, teens, or adults with intellectual, developmental, learning, communication, and/or emotional disability in Northern Nevada region.

Beneficiaries of Amplify Life’s programs include those with Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD and various intellectual disabilities.
