STEP2 announced last week a milestone of accepting the nonprofit’s 4,000th client. In operation since 1986, over 4,000 women have chosen to work with STEP2 to overcome addictions. STEP2 is the first substance abuse treatment facility in Nevada to offer a safe place for mothers to successfully reunite with their children.  The organization said that its clientele achieves a higher rate of success than the national average.

“Our team is so excited to reach this milestone,” said Mari Hutchison, STEP2’s CEO. “When a client enters into treatment at STEP2 they are taking one giant step toward breaking the cycle of addiction in their family.  We are honored to support them through this process.”
