The City of Reno is inviting citizens to celebrate the city’s 150th year in existence. Events on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, start at 4 p.m. and include the Wolf Pack marching band, a Reno Rodeo chuck wagon, a Burning Man art car, and the unveiling of a new HOME sculpture at Greater Nevada Field.
“Our year-long Reno 150 campaign will culminate with this special community gathering in downtown,” said City Councilmember David Bobzien. “This is a milestone moment for our great city, and a chance for us to come together and appreciate how far we’ve come since our founding in 1868.”
