A series of weekly guided walks at various parks that include information about history, ecology, and other topics start Thursday and are scheduled to continue until fall.
The Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation is leading these free interpretive hikes, which range from a half mile to 1-1/2 miles. Each is expected to last at least an hour.
Events start at 6 p.m. and are in Reno unless otherwise noted.
